South Atlantic – Vagrant. Mega-rarity. The Black-browed Albatross is a rare vagrant to the Western North Atlantic with only 15 records. February 6, 1999 one of our trips found the first ever to be photographed in North America off of Virginia Beach, VA, and on February 18, 2012 we found the first photographic record for North Carolina just a few miles from Hatteras Inlet.
